U.S. President Barack Obama welcomed the leaders of G8 countries in the U.S. presidential retreat at Camp David on Friday (05/18/2012) evening local time, to initiate high-level conference for two days.

The leaders of Britain, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, and Russia and the European Union came with wearing casual clothing. Even Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev appeared with dark denim pants combined with a shirt and blue jacket. Discussions on the first day will be done with dinner at Laurel Lodge, one of the log cabin in a resort on the slopes of Catoctin Mountain, Maryland.

The first day of discussion theme will be focused on the issue of Iran's nuclear program, the Syria crisis, North Korea issue, and the future of Myanmar. The second day of the summit on Saturday (05/19/2012) local time will discuss the various main themes, especially about the European financial crisis. They will also discuss how to assist the new governments in the Arab world to reclaim their assets taken by the previous regime abroad.

Jan Pepijn Servaas : Dimly, in this week I saw Valentino Vie at LA airport. He wore a turban like a smuggler when the G8 event was in progress. The next day, he soon renewed his relationship became: Valentino is unofficially now married to Astrid Adrienne and 3 other people.

 
Jan Pepijn Servaas : Vladimir Putin didn't attend the conference and he sent his Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev. Could it be an unfavorable situation? I'm afraid the experts will ignore Russia position in the G8.

 
Astrid Adrienne : You are like a turtle in the boat, Jan. Without Russia, all of you've known it, the G8 or precisely G7 is representing a group which have the same problem of progress in democracy, which believe in human rights and have very similar views related to the global economy. Then all of you, including Zef always think that Russia under Putin will always move toward authoritarian and you regard him as unreliable partner in sensitive issues, such as the issues of Iran and Syria. Why do you always think so? If you are like this, in this case, there's only a few answers you can expect from me.

Valentino Vie : G8 summit? What the heck? Eight countries will represent 15 percent of the world's population and two-thirds of the world's economic performance? Baby, can't you see the G8 is a loose group, no organization, financing or a solid rule? After  the group was formed as a forum in the middle of the oil crisis in the 1970s (to coordinate economic issues and trade), now the political and economic problems are routinely listed on the agenda? Despite the fact that the G20 is considered as a stronger economic forum and the UNSC sanctions is the sanction mechanism's regulator? Hahaha? Baby will you marry me?

 Astrid Adrienne : No? You should not marry me? Ehhehee? Ehhhehee Nino dahling, remember the Arab revolution in last spring?

 Astrid Adrienne : Tant pis. Ils ont également invité Selcuk Unal pour les problèmes en Syrie.

Astrid Adrienne :: Obama inviter d'autres personnes à Camp David. Les dirigeants du Bénin, l'Éthiopie, le Ghana et la Tanzanie sont également programmés pour participer à la discussion sur la sécurité alimentaire en Afrique.

  Adriaan Zef: Honey, do you know if you against me, then you look more sexy? Well, to raise our lethargy nights, I even still be pointing toward Putin. Answer me, Mrs-Always-Flirtatious-But-Rarely-Smiles, or you can see for yourself, and we both have seen how the state controls the media. What about Anna Politkovskaya's case? What are the results so far? We both know, it has not been revealed. You know it, democracy knows the checks and balances. It doesn't happen in Russia, not yet. The President power, according to Constitution is very dominant over the executive power (run by the prime minister and cabinet) and the legislative power (Duma and Supreme Council/Council of the Federation), while the judicial power which previously was more freely) now it is also controlled by the president. He directly oversees - among others - the armed forces, police, attorney general, the secret service (FSB), and the war against terrorism.

  Astrid Adrienne : ehhehehe... at least, the stability in Russia under Putin has been created, Mr-Always-Perfect-But-Sometimes-Very-Naughty. After all, if you said the appointment of governors by the president was considered undemocratic, do you close your eyes to what is happening in many Western countries which are known as democratic? ehehhee, they do the same thing, Mr-Rarely-Angry-But-Often-Gets-Headaches, such as Belgium, Finland, and Portugal. By the way, thank you to new naming for me. It's fun for this weekend.

 Adriaan Zef : Perhaps because of its history legacy, the political participation of Russian society since 1991 is minimal and elitist. I think about two-thirds of Russians now don't directly participate in politics. So, it's understandable if up to now there's no civil society in Russia.
