Putin on Sochi: I would very much like sports not to be marred by politics
Oh, I see. Well, seemingly, in Russia the boundary between the legal and political issues are not always clear. Moreover, if the legal issues touching the politicians, whether in the form of a personal scandal or public scandals, such as corruption. (What are you talking about, Cisca? Putin said about sport, not the laws problems or political accident, you know?)

And the frenetic of noisy and rowdy democracy, can it be, a sporting event free of politicization? There may be the answer, "It is impossible to be politicized." However, in certain doses, Sports seems indeed to be politicized, moreover the history proves many sporting events or its figures role becomes a political movement, or at least take effect, politically. For example: Mohammad Ali. His resistance to compulsory the military service and his refusal to be sent to Vietnam has encouraged the antiwar movement reached its momentum.

U.S. military involvement in the Vietnam War was finally questioned, especially those who sent to the front lines and died in in body bags generally were the black soldiers. Finally, with very embarrassing, U.S. President Lyndon B. Johnson withdrew the U.S. troops from Vietnam after about 58,000 U.S. soldiers died in the swamp or in Vietcong's tunnel rats.

Due to the insistence of the antiwar movement, among others, from figures such as Muhammad Ali and John Lennon with his slogan famous "Make Love, Not War", Secretary of Defense Robert S. McNamara finally admitted what was done by the U.S. army in Vietnam was wrong, terribly wrong. Muhammad Ali was then known not only as a famous boxer, but also an anti-war figure, and champion of skin color discrimination.

Mmmm...one more thing. What should be driven from the sports world to another world --especially to the politics world -- is an aspect of sportsmanship. Each athlete has been forged that losing and winning in the game are common. The important thing is preparation, practice, and give the best. In the world of sport apply: first come, who is strong, then he wins, which is also the Olympic motto, Citius (faster), Altius (higher), Fortius (stronger). Who wins, he's the best. In the politics world, winning and losing becomes unusual. Politicians are ready to win, but they are not necessarily ready to be defeated. That's what led to Russia -- as referred to by some people here, including my partner -- as a noisy and rowdy nation.

Therefore, sportsmanship in the sport should be adopted also by the political world. So, Mr Putin, that is what I mean by Politicization of Sport.
***

What? ... ... From Sochi, Muhammad Ali until Vietnam war? Ahahhaa...aa ... your link is too wide, Cisca! Too creep. Mmm ... why do not you narrow its focus, for example, "All Russian politicians are obliged to follow the sport because the sport is good for the body and mental health." ... Mens sana in corpore sano! Mens sana in corpore sano! Yups, such that, ... and you, the terrorist group, please do not damage the sport event, because people need to live healthy, not to be killed. If you feel urgent to terrorize, do the next time, ok? Not now. That's all. Thank you for your understanding.

I can not fully trust the people I love, but I can fully love the people that I trust.

I will say to myself that today I will strengthen myself, in the sense of my deck to do the things that has been delayed. To be more gentle to him who loves me, and grateful for whatever the outcome of my honesty and hard work. Indeed, it is not easy to be a good person, but there is no happiness outside of kindness.

God, please give your grace to my seriousness today.

(Dahling, I never say I do not trust you, nor I do not love you.)

SCIENCE &TECHNOLOGY : Drones create 3D model of Matterhorn mountain. Published on Oct 17, 2013 by New Scientist

NEWS & POLITIC : Rise of the Machines - USA. Most people see drones as a controversial weapon prowling over foreign battlegrounds. But as America's military campaigns wind down, these machines are coming home and set to change civilian lives forever.
"This is a powerful technology. No amount of hand-wringing is going to stop it", says drone expert, Peter Singer. Whether it's a floating TV station streaming live to the web, the prying lens of the paparazzi, the police chasing a criminal or a government agency spying, small domestic drones are experiencing an exponential growth. At the world's largest drone convention in Las Vegas a salesman tells the crowd, "this can be used in law enforcement, disaster relief and industrial applications. It's also very good at dusting floors. Every home owner should have one". And as the technology advances at a frightening speed, anyone with a few hundred dollars can buy one over the counter. These hobby drones can fly for miles and provide sharp video feedback to the pilot. "I wouldn't cheat on your wife!", laughs columnist Charles Krauthammer. But jokes aside, there are real fears over the "political, legal and ethical issues that play out with this", argues Singer. In 3 years time an order from the US congress will see tens of thousands of drones legally occupy an already crowded sky, raising numerous questions about basic safety, terrorism and civil liberty. As companies rush to cash in on this new billion dollar industry, experts warn, "we're not ready for this". ABC Australia. Published on Oct 15, 2012 by Journeyman Pictures || ►  Attack of the Drones - USA. They can move together in swarms, build towers, dance, throw and catch, assess targets and soon will even make their own decisions. Both in war and at home, drones are developing fast and gaining control. The screens at a US air force base lock onto a civilian car driving along a road in New Mexico. "We don't simulate or actually engage them, it is just training to follow a moving target." The question, "with their permission?" is met with an embarrassed pause and the faltering reply, "we're just following them with a camera". Rapidly becoming acceptable practice, increasingly police are also using drones to survey civilian areas for criminals. The US air force are now training more 'desk pilots' than traditional pilots, raising concerns that war is becoming "just a big computer game", allowing pilots to kill a few Taliban fighters and then go home for dinner. Nathan Wessler, a civil rights lawyer, strongly argues that the US using drones to kill targets in countries like Yemen despite not being in a state of war with them could lead to serious repercussions. "It is really a dangerous precedent. The technology of drones is not that complicated and there are dozens of nations developing it." And these robots are advancing. Future drones will be able to independently find targets and decide to attack. As Iran lays its hands on a US spy drone, which experts in this report argue they are "perfectly capable of copying", has an uncontrolled new arms race already begun? April 2012. ■ 14 October 2013 : Young Apes Manage Emotions Like Humans Do. Researchers studying young bonobos in an African sanctuary have discovered striking similarities between the emotional development of the bonobos and that of children, suggesting these great apes regulate their emotions in a human-like way. This is important to human evolutionary history because it shows the socio-emotional framework commonly applied to children works equally well for apes. Using this framework, researchers can test predictions of great ape behavior and, as in the case of this study, confirm humans and apes share many aspects of emotional functioning.

NEWS & POLITIC : Eid al-Adha 2013: message from Nick Clegg. Message from Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg to mark Eid al-Adha.

"Salaam Alaikum. As Hajj ends and millions of Muslims across the world, and Britain, prepare for Eid al-Adha, I want to wish you all a sincere Eid Mubarak. This festival is a time for prayer, celebration, and, most importantly, charity. When family and friends gather together and do what they can to help those less fortunate.

The theme of sacrifice and generosity, which defines this festival, works to strengthen the ties between us. It reminds us all - both Muslims and non-Muslims alike - of the obligations we have to each other, especially those who are suffering.

Earlier this month I announced that Britain has committed an extra £100 million to help get essentials such as food, clean water and medicine to those men, women and children forced to flee their homes as a result of the ongoing conflict in Syria - bringing the UK's total commitment to the Syrian humanitarian crisis to half a billion pounds. Despite the ongoing pressure on the UK's public finances, the people of Syria need our help, and we stand by them.

Eid al-Adha shows us that, no matter how much we can each contribute, we can all make a difference. And I know that throughout this festival, Muslims across Britain will be helping others - both in their own local communities and around the world - through countless acts of kindness, big and small. So to them and all of those celebrating over the next few days, Eid Saeed."

"Thank you for your perception! I like your romantic side, even if I do not always comment and I'm glad that you're in my circle of friends."
(Courtesies by: Wolfgang A. Gerhardt)

Wolfgang A.Gerhardt : May be you like this Sunday collage

Cisca Zarmansyah : Before today, there never was a person doing this to me. You create a simple matter to look special. This is a special thing for me.

Cisca Zarmansyah : Thank you. I love it. I love you, my friend.

CieL- FreYa Ceastle : Hmm, he's so nice...

"I am me.
In all the world,
there is no one else exactly like me.
Everything that comes out of me
is authentically mine,
because I alone chose it --
I own everything about me:
my body,
my feelings,
my mouth,
my voice,
all my actions,
whether they be to others or myself.
I own my fantasies,
my dreams,
my hopes,
my fears.
I own my triumphs and successes,
all my failures and mistakes.
Because I own all of me,
I can become intimately acquainted with me.
By so doing,
I can love me
and be friendly with all my parts.
I know there are aspects about myself that puzzle me,
and other aspects that I do not know
-- but as long as I am friendly
and loving to myself,
I can courageously and hopefully
look for solutions
to the puzzles and ways
to find out more about me.
However I look and sound,
whatever I say and do,
and whatever I think and feel at a given moment in time
is authentically me.
If later some parts of how I looked,
sounded,
thought,
and felt
turn out to be unfitting,
I can discard that which is unfitting,
keep the rest,
and invent something new
for that which I discarded.
I can see,
hear,
feel,
think,
say, and do.
I have the tools to survive,
to be close to others,
to be productive,
and to make sense
and order out of the world of people
and things outside of me.
I own me,
and therefore,
I can engineer me.
I am me,
and I am okay."
