News Headlines (436) 14 December - 16 December 2013

ONLINE TODAY

Real problems involving your nearest and dearest need most of your attention, so try to ignore frivolous situations as much as possible. You have enough projects to keep you busy for now -- avoid taking on any new business or personal tasks unless it's absolutely necessary. The key word right now is 'prioritize.' Although it might be difficult to tear yourself away from your own dramas, your selflessness will be rewarded in extremely beneficial ways.

You're feeling pretty feisty today -- so much so that you may fire up a few arguments just to see where they lead! It's a good time for you to step up and make your case whenever the mood strikes you. A certain higher-up has been on your case pretty hard lately, so you've been toeing the line, doing everything just right, and forcing yourself to even work a bit of overtime. Without even being asked. Basically, you've been very, very good -- and now it's time to relax. Yes, relax. Even you need some downtime. Give yourself a break tonight. Chill out.

It's time for you to face some facts, but it's not just you that's on the hook, fortunately. The universe is asking as all to sit still, quiet our minds, pay attention and be realistic, whether we like it or not. Now, the 'sit still' part is admittedly a little bit tougher on you than on others, but once you set your mind to it, you can do almost anything you want. Try not to make it look too easy!

Maybe because I'm not them. I wonder, why do I often really like with what is called Alone? I feel comfortable if we are not always together at all times. I feel more free to decide what I want to do when I'm alone. Many secrets are always with me. I do not have to feel lonely without him. And the most crazy is, lately I intend to have a special place for me to stay alone there. A special house for me and my baby. And you dahling, you may visit us if I've called you, ehehehhe ..., for example, if you want me like I want you. (Yes, and the problem is, "Do you want him as he wants you, Cisca? What will happen if you do not want him when he so desperately needs you? Is the need for a person equivalent to the fulfillment of feeling hungry? So, he may buy another meal if you can not serve food from you to him, hm? Of course he may, if you just interpret this question by considering only his food faces in your mind. (Chicken. Chickens. Duck. Ducks. Beef. Chickens more. Roast. Beef. Greasy. Butter. Slippery. Fats. Fatty. Too fat. Obesity. Explode! Boom. Boom! Boom? Balloon? Ehehhee ... shut up! Shut up, Cucumber! and you, too. Be polite, lonely Vegetables!) But this is not about them all. Merely food. Purely about the food. But I'm asking you about a winged question, you know!")

EDUCATION : Pompeii: The Mystery Of People Frozen In Time - History Documentary. n a one off landmark drama documentary for BBC One, Dr Margaret Mountford presents Pompeii: The Mystery Of The People Frozen In Time. The city of Pompeii uniquely captures the public's imagination; in 79AD a legendary volcanic disaster left its citizens preserved in ashes to this very day. Yet no-one has been able to unravel the full story that is at the heart of our fascination: how did those bodies become frozen in time?

For the first time the BBC has been granted unique access to these strange, ghost-like body casts that populate the ruins and, using the latest forensic technology, the chance to peer beneath the surface of the plaster in order to rebuild the faces of two of the people who were killed in this terrible tragedy.

Margaret turns detective to tell a new story at the heart of one of history's most iconic moments; she looks at the unique set of circumstances that led to the remarkable preservation of the people of Pompeii. By applying modern day forensic analysis to this age-old mystery, Margaret dispels the myths surrounding the events in 79AD. She also explores the lives of the individuals who once lived in this vibrant and enigmatic city, as well as recreating the last moments of the people caught up in this tragedy. Are e-cigarettes safe? - There's a reason it's hard to answer that question: Manufacturers don't have to tell us much about them.
Even when we naturally breathe oxygen from outside into our lungs, I was always doubting his hygiene. And now they are using the media as a campaign of their business to us, damn it!

What rational explanation for this, hm? They deliberately channeling the cigarette smoke from outside into our lungs? And you still expect me to say you're smart? Ahahaa ... maybe you think you're smart, because you can fool others. But definitely not me, understand?

You can call me your friend or your enemy, but just listen to me once: Do not smoke. Stop smoking. Our bodies are entitled to a healthy life and be treated well by healthy souls.

If someday we will never meet again, and you remember what I say today, and maybe you have suffered from diseases caused by smoking, and you have been sentenced to death by life, while you want to live longer, then you'll know what the meaning of regret. And your regret is not useful at all.

Why are you picking up again if you throw it consciously? It is your own health, the most expensive asset in your life.

ALAIN SORAL TODAY

Mmm...I love to see his gestures at the beginning of this interview. When the internet connection is bad, ... ehhehhehe he's such a smart monkey, sensual and handsome. Trying to seriously is very funny, monsieur!

( What? No need to wait until a connection interruption occurs, Cisca! I saw you clicking on the Play button on every second, ehhheee ... and you laughed out loud enjoying every second of his expression in the first 25 seconds.}

Ow ... my goodness, falling in love is wonderful, is not it? Especially if it happens many times from the same person to the same person.

He's always serious in presenting his ideas and thoughts, but one day you will know he's actually very humorous. He has a strong back and today he is also like a camel, because he does not drink even a glass of water at all when talking for more than 30 minutes. Weill, your crew needs to be upbraided! ahahha... (Oh dear, are you not thirsty or hungry? You even do not have a good arm chair for your right hand, ehehhee ....)

News Headlines (433) 6 December - 7 December 2013

ONLINE TODAY

6 December 2013 : You may feel like you're living in a science fiction film today -- things are moving quickly, and you may be excited to see new possibilities open up before your eyes. Enjoy the future! You might not believe that you have all the determination and ambition you need to make some major headway today, but you definitely do! Early in the morning, if you can devote some time to figuring out a few shortcuts, you will be able to free up valuable time in the afternoon to get more work done. Your brain will be sharper as the day goes on, so try to save complicated or detail-oriented work for the end of your day. In the morning, your mind will be creative but indecisive.

7 December 2013 : You have got to sit down and make plans today -- otherwise, you may find that things are too crazy to handle. Your energy is just right for at least one major distraction, but no more than that. You don't mind helping the other members of a group if they get stuck and need your assistance -- that's why you work well as part of a team. Your actions prove you are good at taking orders as well as carrying them out, plus you can also be a fantastic leader. But this is a good time to hang out in the background and learn from someone else's knowledge. It shouldn't take long to emerge as one of the team's strongest members, which could definitely lead to some excellent opportunities for you.

DAILY KOS  6 December 2013 : Ted Cruz posts Mandela tribute on Facebook. His fans go crazy.

Apartheid was a system of legal racial segregation applied in the Republic of South Africa from 1948 to 1993. Apartheid is derived from an African word that means "separate". But the seeds of apartheid has actually grown much before 1948 and continue to haunt South Africa before it was finally abolished. Under apartheid, discrimination against black people is not only acceptable, but also legalized by law. In such systems, the Whites have priority for housing, employment, education, and access to political power.

Although South Africa was heavily criticized, but apartheid just began to be abolished in 1991. This system really ended when Nelson Mandela was elected as the first black president of South Africa in 1994.

The first laws governing the system of apartheid was the Group Areas Act of 1950 which separated the space between the lives of citizens. White people living in urban and colored skin living in rural or suburban.

At that time, Whites and non-whites performed different jobs, live in different areas, and have different salaries, different access to education and health care.

When Blacks were forced out of urban areas, the area where they lived is called Bantustan or "African homeland." Because they were citizens of Bantustan, then the Blacks were not allowed to participate in government and forced to adhere to a curfew if they wanted to travel outside of their hometown.

Then came the one character named Nelson Mandela. He was a member of the African National Congress (African National Congress or ANC), a group that fought to abolish apartheid. Mandela joined the ANC just before World War II and pushed the organization into a national movement. ANC using  non-violent resistance, strikes, and mass civil disobedience to fight for equal rights.

In 1952, Mandela was tried for participating in Defiance Campaign and was sentenced to probation.

Furthermore, Mandela spent his time in and out of prison throughout the 1950s and became a lawyer to help The Blacks.

In 1960, the ANC was officially banned. Mandela later became one of the founders of Umkhonto we Sizwe, an organization of civil rights violence, though his membership did not last long. In 1962, after touring overseas to talk about the situation in South Africa and received military training, Mandela was jailed for life and was not released until 1990.

When apartheid began to be eliminated, the ANC then reformed in 1991 to then choose Mandela as president of the organization. When the 1994 elections, Nelson Mandela was elected as president of South Africa and served until 1999. Previously, Mandela also won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1993 in recognition of his efforts to end the apartheid in South Africa.

Additional note : I am thinking about how I have to say on this site manager about what I feel every time I am accessing it and then I move to another site with its white pages. It hurts my eyes. I wonder, why do they choose a very striking yellow for color pages which take a long time to read it until it's all understandable? Do they not like white color? As if they suggest that white is a painful color to be seen, whereas white is my favorite color.

■ 5 December 2013 : Why Nelson Mandela Was So Beloved
With half-jokingly I asked this question on my partner. Then he became busy using his memory to explain everything related to Mandela. After listening to what he said, I just added, "Mandela does not have a devil's face!"

"Devil's face?"

"Yups. His smile looks good."

"What about my smile?" he asked with a grin. I looked at a few moments on his smiling face. Hmmm... not a devil's face, but it's not the face of Mandela as well. Mandela's face is the face of art, because he could always smiling even though he was in pain, pain due to the memory of past history, and also his physical pain. Meanwhile, my partner's face is just a simple man of a man. Red for Love (Everything related to the Red, among others, are: Sex. Hungry. Foods. Furious. Jealous. Competition. Smash. Shoot. Die. Tears. Goodbye.) & Blue for the Secret of Love. (One thing related to Blue is just: He, he,...hehehehe... and I.)

But then I myself correcting my theory about the face and its smile. Mandela is not a terrorist, his smile is nice. Someone can have a nice smile, but then someone could be classified as terrorist not because of the smile, but the action.

So, terrorists could also smile sweetly. The problem is, someone can have a demon face or not, but there is always a distinction between them.

CORPORATE FASCISM: The Destruction of America's Middle Class. A new kind of fascism has taken over America: the merger of corporations and government whereby corporate power dominates. With the emergence of ever-larger multinational corporations -- due to consolidation facilitated by the Federal Reserve's endless FIAT money -- the corporatocracy has been in a position to literally purchase the U.S. Congress.

A James Jaeger Film featuring RON PAUL, Congressman/Presidential Candidate; PAT BUCHANAN, Author/Political Analyst; G. EDWARD GRIFFIN, Author/Producer; EDWIN VIEIRA, Author/Constitutional Attorney and TED BAEHR, Founder of MovieGuide and Christian Film & TV Commission.

A result of the corporate purchase of Congress is that many of the nation's "laws" have been re-configured to benefit WE THE CORPORATIONS, rather than WE THE PEOPLE. "Laws" like NAFTA and GATT resulted in the outsourcing of the U.S. manufacturing base and the destruction of the Middle Class. This is nothing less than the 1 Percenters abusing the 99 Percenters. Known as "monopoly capitalism," "crony capitalism," "mercantilism," "globalization," "the new world order," and/or "free trade" -- this is NOT your Grandfather's capitalism. EDUCATION : Inside the KGB: Terror of the Soviet Union | History Documentary.  The Committee for State Security, more commonly known by its transliteration "KGB" (Russian: Комитет государственной безопасности (КГБ), Komitet gosudarstvennoy bezopasnosti (KGB)), was the main security agency for the Soviet Union from 1954 until its collapse in 1991. The committee was a direct successor of such preceding agencies as Cheka, NKGB, and MGB. It was the chief government agency of "union-republican jurisdiction", acting as internal security, intelligence, and secret police. Similar agencies were instated in each of the republics of the Soviet Union aside from the Russian SFSR and consisted of many ministries, state committees and state commissions.

The KGB also has been considered a military service and was governed by army laws and regulations, similar to the Soviet Army or MVD Internal Troops. While most of the KGB archives remain classified, two on-line documentary sources are available.[1][2] Its main functions were foreign intelligence, counterintelligence, operative-investigatory activities, guarding the State Border of the USSR, guarding the leadership of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union and the Soviet Government, organization and ensuring of government communications as well as fight against nationalism, dissent, and anti-Soviet activities.

After breaking away from the Republic of Georgia in the early 1990s with Russian help, the self-proclaimed Republic of South Ossetia established its own KGB (keeping this unreformed name)

"Thank you for your perception! I like your romantic side, even if I do not always comment and I'm glad that you're in my circle of friends."
(Courtesies by: Wolfgang A. Gerhardt)

Wolfgang A.Gerhardt : May be you like this Sunday collage

Cisca Zarmansyah : Before today, there never was a person doing this to me. You create a simple matter to look special. This is a special thing for me.

Cisca Zarmansyah : Thank you. I love it. I love you, my friend.

CieL- FreYa Ceastle : Hmm, he's so nice...

"I am me.
In all the world,
there is no one else exactly like me.
Everything that comes out of me
is authentically mine,
because I alone chose it --
I own everything about me:
my body,
my feelings,
my mouth,
my voice,
all my actions,
whether they be to others or myself.
I own my fantasies,
my dreams,
my hopes,
my fears.
I own my triumphs and successes,
all my failures and mistakes.
Because I own all of me,
I can become intimately acquainted with me.
By so doing,
I can love me
and be friendly with all my parts.
I know there are aspects about myself that puzzle me,
and other aspects that I do not know
-- but as long as I am friendly
and loving to myself,
I can courageously and hopefully
look for solutions
to the puzzles and ways
to find out more about me.
However I look and sound,
whatever I say and do,
and whatever I think and feel at a given moment in time
is authentically me.
If later some parts of how I looked,
sounded,
thought,
and felt
turn out to be unfitting,
I can discard that which is unfitting,
keep the rest,
and invent something new
for that which I discarded.
I can see,
hear,
feel,
think,
say, and do.
I have the tools to survive,
to be close to others,
to be productive,
and to make sense
and order out of the world of people
and things outside of me.
I own me,
and therefore,
I can engineer me.
I am me,
and I am okay."
