This true story tells about "survive" and "loyalty". One of the dogs in Japan proved this species could actually symbolize the fidelity. This story was found by two reporters from Jezebel. They arrived in Arahama city that has been ravaged by tsunami in Japan. In front of the building ruins, they saw them.
The latest news from Arahama said the dogs were eventually rescued by the SAR team. Now they are being treated in local hospitals to recover their condition.

Prime Minister of Japan, Naoto Kan call on all Japanese people to unite in overcoming what he said as "the nation's worst crisis since World War II". Kan made a speech responding to the earthquake and massive tsunami that rocked Japan, last Friday (March 11, 2011) and caused tens of thousands of Japanese died. (First earthquake : March 9, 2011)
In a television speech broadcast on Sunday, Kan said that the nation's future would be determined by Japan citizens choices. He urged all Japanese to join in their determination to rebuild the nation after the massive earthquake and tsunami.
The estimated death toll from the disaster rose to more than 10,000 in one town alone. While millions of other victims survive without drinking water, electricity and food, on the east coast that is almost wiped out by tsunami.

Japanese artist Isao Hashimoto has created a beautiful, undeniably scary time-lapse map of the 2053 nuclear explosions which have taken place between 1945 and 1998, beginning with the Manhattan Project's "Trinity" test near Los Alamos and concluding with Pakistan's nuclear tests in May of 1998. This leaves out North Korea's two alleged nuclear tests in this past decade (the legitimacy of both of which is not 100% clear).
Each nation gets a blip and a flashing dot on the map whenever they detonate a nuclear weapon, with a running tally kept on the top and bottom bars of the screen. Hashimoto, who began the project in 2003, says that he created it with the goal of showing "the fear and folly of nuclear weapons." It starts really slow - if you want to see real action, skip ahead to 1962 or so - but the buildup becomes overwhelming.
