"I'm a Malay. You're Chinese. He's India. We are one Malaysia." At first, the ad (which played on TV over and over again) made me wonder. Was it true? Before that, I thought this ad was misleading advertising. But the next day, starting from the morning, noon, evening, night, the day after and so on until this day, the same ad is always shown on TV. Frankly I don't presume anything, I don't want to disturb the internal affairs of Malaysia, I'm just telling stories. I'm always very sorry if I talk too much about Malaysia, I say it doesn't matter if we speak, "You are Chinese, He is India and I'm a Malay" in Malaysia.

KUALA LUMPUR - FLOODS continue to disrupt travel for thousands of Malaysians going back to their home towns for the Chinese New Year. Communications remain cut off in several towns in Negeri Sembilan, Malacca, Pahang and Johor, which has been the worst hit.
Meanwhile, the death toll from the floods has risen to four. The latest victim was a man whose body was found in Negeri Sembilan yesterday evening. In Johor, Segamat has become an 'island' after roads leading to it were cut off by flood waters. Electricity supply to the town was also disconnected as a safety precaution.
According to a Johor flood operations centre spokesman, roads that have remained closed in Segamat are Mile 8 of Jalan Muar-Segamat, Sungai Penarah bridge at KM63 of Jalan Muar-Segamat, KM196 of Jalan Johor Baru-Seremban and the road to Felda Redong.
In Kluang, the closure involved KM79 to KM81 of Jalan Kluang-Mersing and KM75 of Jalan Kluang-Jemaluang. The authorities said that overall, the flood situation was improving, with the number of evacuees dropping to around 45,000 last night from nearly 50,000 in the morning. -- BERNAMA, THE STAR/ANN

Cisca Zarmansyah : All humans have language. Ownership conceptual language is what distinguishes humans from other contents of universe. In the framework of human life, the most basic function of language is a conceptual thoughts actualized into life's world. The possibility of this realization will become foundation for an act. This act caused the result, and finally the results are assessed.
Valentino Vie : baby, could it be if these results assessment will affect the rethinking? haha
Cisca Zarmansyah : It's possible, Noy, even it can cause further effect, thus there's a concatenated circuit continuously. But if this thought is not expressed in language, then other people won't know the idea. There's a possibility that thought can be directly translated into deeds, which is then imitated by others. But the move is very limited, just like the monkeys that (... already about 30 million years ehehehh,..maybe) never more advanced than the original.
Adriaan Zef : Yeah... after conceptual thinking's statement, I think there's the possibility people will know, understand, assess its right and wrong, teach the thought or, even, after it was understood, then it can set up the action plans.
Valentino Vie : Although I understand the language, but I don't understand the truth or conceptual errors. Maybe this will be clearer if I say, "Wow .... he's a very affectionate boss, ... he gives me holiday every two times a week!", isn't he? hahaa ....
Cisca Zarmansyah : Zef, the possibility to know and understand the concept is based on understanding of communication only. Our mental attitude in this step accepts it receptively. If any assessment in this step, it's only an emotional assessment.
Adriaan Zef : There's a reciprocity between thought and language we use, isn't it?
Valentino Vie : Baby, what are we talking about here? Why don't we simplify our communication language as used by Tarzan to Jane. I patted my chest, "Tarzan! Tarzan!"... You?
Cisca Zarmansyah : Tarzan was married to Jane, and they stayed for some time in England. They had a son, Jack, a name derived from the ape's name, Korak. Tarzan didn't like the hypocrisy of world civilization, therefore he and Jane returned to Africa and lived there,... until now, because both are immortal. Thus, there's no problem with political language, Mr.Tarzan! This is a literary language.
Valentino Vie : Thank you, baby. But I also was thinking about another language that I used when I said I wanted to make love with you, that's my body language. Did you remember how it was saying my desire?

Another great one from RSA Animate - radical sociologist David Harvey asks if it's time to look beyond capitalism, towards a new social order that would allow us to live within a system that could be responsible, just and humane.
You, Lakshmi Lavanya, Almira Izzati and Adriaan Zef like this.
Adriaan Zef : Always knew the Capitalism was like the Monopoly game, it is fun if you are the winner. This is a great movie, makes me think of The Zeitgeist Movement, who also offers a solution to all this problems, a resource based economy: http://www.thezeitgeistmovement.com/
Valentino Vie : Does the current crisis will become a systemic crisis is an unanswered question. As a structural crisis of capitalism -- how ever-- it was in many ways the social crisis of capitalism.
Adriaan Zef : Well, different kinds of forces are currently doing projects, tendencies, and scenarios for the re-establishment and/or development of capitalist domination of the bourgeoisie, aren't they? As with many crises converge in one moment was greeted with the intensification of the regulatory mechanism of the old, though something new had begun to emerge. Similarly, the existence of tendencies that can be found in neoliberalism, but at the same time its development leads to a more remote than that....
CieL- FreYa Ceastle : The depth of the current crisis will not result in the implementation of solutions that are sustainable in the short term. The dominance of neo-liberal forces of financial market capitalism still has not been lost and hinder the fundamental alternatives. There are a constellation of openness and transitions that may persist for a decade.
Adriaan Zef : However, because of the many fundamental problems are not addressed substantively, the threat of more severe crisis in the financial sector, economic, ecological and social growing. The rulers are divided. This conflict of interest with respect, the debates, the search for compromise, and the consequences of the new partial steps, providing an opportunity for the realization of the desired positions.
Valentino Vie : Need to scramble back to the concept of productive forces in order to eliminate these tendencies to destroy the previous decade and the mass consciousness will awaken to their own strengths to solve problems in the world together.
Adriaan Zef : A thousand years from now, both "Peace Corps" or "Alliance for Progress" or event "Bay of Pigs" will not be remembered. Likewise, Kennedy's political action in the tax field and civil rights legislation. I think the reason you show him here just because of one thing: he was the person responsible for the establishment of "Space Program, Apollo." Yeah,...if man didn't utter a small object on the sidelines of the ever-busy time, we can confirm that(... maybe) for 5000 years to come, our journey to the moon is still considered an extraordinary event, an important event in human history.
Cisca Zarmansyah : Also because he has successfully completed the Cuban Missile Crisis, and his foreign policy, "Do not supply those armies of countries that plan to do us harm. Do not give weapons to the Communists. Do not supply bombs to the Middle East."
Valentino Vie : Some people, of course, still feel that the Apollo project is merely showing off and has no significance. So far, no visible signs commemorating the July 20, 1969 as a historic day, such as the national day. Conversely, we also know, even though the Columbus day was not celebrated in the 16th century, but today it is celebrated as a sign of rising dawn of new era.
Even if the Apollo project was never passed, yet it still continues to be remembered, as a result of the greatest works in competition for the highest human achievement. But I think the Apollo program will be continued, and the journey into space will play a larger role in the future than ever before. If so, our grandchildren will feel the journey of Apollo 11 is just as Columbus crosses the Atlantic journey which represents a starting point of the whole new era in human history.

He also prevented the media critism that constantly chasing him! ► http://www.politicsdaily.com/2010/11/08/george-w-bush-still-not-telling-the-truth-about-iraq/
Valentino Vie : In Decision Points, he explained the invasion of Iraq was a decision that eventually he agreed with some reluctance, after all the time he thought about it. This statement was in stark contrast with the American media that proclaiming him as the main actor in the war plan. Disgusting!
Pranay Suresh : History recorded that he had the desire to topple Saddam Hussein's regime. He even tried to link the Iraq with 911 terror attack. hehehe, he's a whiz at the terror!
Cisca Zarmansyah : According to David Corn, this was exaggerated by Bush administration, because the UN weapons investigators didn't find weapons of mass destruction as claimed by the Iraqi intelligence.
In his memoir, Bush declared the idea to attack Iraq cam...e after a meeting with the security team at Camp David, four days after the attacks of 911. He said that if he found definite evidence of Saddam Hussein's involvement with 911, then he would solve the Iraqi problem through diplomatic channels. This recognition was contrary to the testimony of Bush's security team members, Richard A. Clarke who said that Bush's security team was very intimidating the staff. There was a clear indication that Bush wanted them to come back with a statement of Iraq's involvement with 911.
Clarke felt Bush had a plan against Iraq for a long time. According to him, Bush didn't consider the impact of the attacks to Iraq when the idea arose. Bush even stated what to do with Iraq was to change its government, not just fired a missile.
The next day, Donald Rumsfeld said there was no reason to bomb Afghanistan, and the US should consider in bombing Iraq that had the clear targets. He thought Rumsfeld was joking only, but he was serious and Bush didn't reject that idea.
Two months later, November 12, 2001, Bush administration formally gave the instructions on Rumsfeld that he wanted to develop a plan for the Iraq war. Sixteen months later, in March 2003, the US invasion of Iraq began and devastated the country. Saddam's regime was successfully overthrown. Done. What now, huh?
