Cisca Zarmansyah : I think there are several factors that affect the democratic struggle, (that's currently run by pro-democracy and the Myanmar people) such as no concrete political leadership to lead the masses. This situation forces the dictatorship of junta and opposition take the form of underground workings. The involvement of monks in the action is still within the limits of anti-junta, amid the challenges of foreign interests who have been working together with junta to exploit the natural wealth of this country. With abundant natural wealth mining sector, Myanmar is actually a bone of contention for the foreign investors in surrounding blocks, especially ASEAN, China, India, Japan, US and EU. Leniency shown by ASEAN leaders in solidarity for democracy in Burma is very minimal, considering some ASEAN countries such as Thailand, and Singapore have a large stake to an investment under the military junta. US economic sanctions (and some of its allies) isn't without purpose. You know it, enormous natural wealth is the main purpose of the US ...Although under the terms of the military dictatorship, but Myanmar is included in WTO and IMF's economic, so the failure of Myanmar's economy is a mix of limited liberalization and rule of regime in power.
Fairuz Azalia : Yes C, the UN must take action to stop the violence of military camels. it should use its authority to pressure junta to open dialogue with government opposition groups, and release all political prisoners.

Cisca Zarmansyah : Maybe that's another way of power speaking Izti. Even a day after the election, there has been clashes between ethnic groups and army in some border areas. Riots and action shooting also occurred at the Three Pagodas Pass area for an hour, but no reports of casualties in that incident.
