I'm a girl, I am an Afghan girl. I'm the daughter of the land of braves. Don't break my wings, let me fly. Don't break my crown, let me think. I want to be as free as a gazelle. I love my homeland just as Malali did. Sing my songs just like a nightingale in the gardens. Express myself the same as Zainab, Nazo, and Mehri in poetry. Don't break my wings, let me fly. Don't break my crown, let me think. I've a smile on my face like a flower and live in open green fields. My heart is filled with love for my homeland. I'll sing songs and poems for my land.(Afghan Girl - MOZHDAH JAMALZADAH, an Afghan singer, entertainer and model from Kabul, Afghanistan)

Almira Izzati : Actually her music and performance is very ordinary, but I can guess why you like it.
Pranay Suresh : Memsahib, is this just a coincidence?

Women's movement is marked on March 8, as a symbol of women's freedom of thought and action. When thoughts and daily life of women are marginalized in a patriarchal society, the voices silenced will rebel and want to be heard. This struggle is a reminder of the collective memory, which marks the date. Hundreds of women workers are killed, hundreds of women's thoughts are turned off for the continuity of patriarchal domination of power. Are we going to always be quiet and follow the system?
That is the challenge of the March 8 celebration, not just a day of action in the form of euphoria and forgets its meaning.
At first, the struggle began with the movement of women workers in New York on March 8, 1857 and resumed on March 8, 1908, when 15 thousand women took to the streets with slogans calling for "Bread and Flower" as a symbol of economic security (bread) and welfare (interest).
In 1910 in Copenhagen, the symbol of women's day was taken by prominent German socialist feminist, Clara Zetkin, to be a milestone in international women's day memorial. Declaration of hundreds of women at that moment marked the anniversary of international women's day. Thousands of struggle's victims have to be paid by a revolution of women's ideas & their thoughts.
This is the difference meaning of women revolution. Not the blood that is asked, but a space for women to think, write, and act. The experience of women must be included in every struggle. The differences of experience is a strength in resisting the patriarchal power idea. If we just make it as a reminder of date, then our struggle is just an attribute which will be more confused by the patriarchal spider web.
So, it's time to kill the spider through all our daily actions and thoughts. The rebellion in us will be a major influence for insurgency around us. The spirit of March 8 is the trigger and a milestone reminder for the struggle. This spirit should always be turned on through the struggle of humanity.
Just like a butterfly, a fluttering wing is not going to affect a lot, but thousands of butterfly wings will affect the desire and the struggle for women's revolution. This is the time for women. This is the women revolution.

You, Adriaan Zef, Almira Izzati, CieL- FreYa Ceastle and 3 others like this.Cisca Zarmansyah : I myself have never been able to find out precisely what feminism is. I only know that people call me a feminist whenever I express sentiments that differentiate me from a door mat or a prostitute. (REBECCA WEST)
Cisca Zarmansyah : We're pretty much destined for greatness. We're just pacing ourself so we don't freak you out!

You, CieL- FreYa Ceastle, Fairuz Azalia and 2 others like this.
Adriaan Zef : Ok, your concept can be accepted. I agree with your opinion last night. Equality is not uniformity. Well, you can use my car anytime, but you should be able to replace its lubricating oil. Can you?
Cisca Zarmansyah : Why not?
Adriaan Zef : ... come on dear, it's time for our bed.
Valentino Vie : For a man, no surrender more beautiful than surrender to the woman he loves. But, how big the surrender of a man to a woman is dependent on the woman. A man will be glad controlled by a woman that makes him a great person. A woman who demands to be respected by her man, should be a woman who respects her man. Life is fair, my woman. I respect you, admire you, love you. ♥
Cisca Zarmansyah: I love you too, Noy. ♥
Valentino Vie : In my town, there is a pregnant labor. She is entitled to the money and maternity leave, but her health card has been refused by the company because her husband's name is not listed on it. No one can understand that she is pregnant because of rape (according to her confession), even you can guess that maybe she is a commercial sex worker.
Almira Izzati : So, the theme for 2011 is "Equal access to education, training and science and technology: Pathway to decent work for women." .... why does it seem so difficult? who makes it? men? ..... Cutie pie, ... I am happy to be a woman. What about you?
Cisca Zarmansyah : Mmm...me...? I.... I feel so d-e-s-p-e-r-a-t-e to become a mother. I really want to have k-i-d-s. Sorry if this sounds so s-t-u-p-i-d desires.
Fairuz Azalia : Up to now, not many pro-women policies thoroughly implemented at the grassroots level.
Adriaan Zef : ... ..Please Hon, don't start me with that very spoiled words! ... We'll get it soon!
Valentino Vie : Ma femme, savaient-ils que vous êtes un indigo?
