► Sheaffer. Sheaffer has manufactured fountain pens down to the present day. The original lever-filler mechanism remained in use through the end of the 1940s, though a sacless plunger design was introduced in the early 1930s. In 1949 Sheaffer adopted the "Touchdown" pneumatic-filling mechanism for its top-line fountain pens. A development of the Touchdown design was the Snorkel, which added a small extendable tube underneath the nib to avoid the need to dip the nib into ink when operating the filler plunger. The last Snorkel pen was the oversize "Pen For Men", a fat-bodied model introduced in 1959 with the then-new "Inlaid Nib" which has since featured on all Sheaffer's top-of-the-range pens.

■ Elderly beauty contest
No one is like my mother. To me, my mom is the most beautiful elderly in this universe. The second winner is won by two women at once: my fiance's mother and my ex-boyfriend's mother who lives in France.
My mother's beauty means her undying love for my father, her devotion to duty as a mother raising her children (including me) until I become like this, a woman who knows how to give love to my baby as I receive love from my mother.
Yes! It has been held. Now the screen is closed. What? What do you say? Do you two want to protest? Sorry dahling, Jury's decision can not be contested anymore.
Sweet greetings from a single jury for three participants - CZ
