► BBC 27 February 2013. The world's oldest woman has officially been named as Misao Okawa, who is 114 years old and lives in the western Japanese city of Osaka. Mrs Okawa was officially recognised by Guinness World Records in a ceremony at the nursing home where she lives. Rupert Wingfield-Hayes reports from Tokyo.

► Biggest bird park in Iran. The biggest bird park in Iran, one of the largest in the Middle East. Tehran Bird Park will be open to the public at the end of April. Before inauguration Deputy Tehran mayor talked to reporters on location. He stated that more than 1500 birds are kept there and that this number will increase to 7500 in the near future. The birds are kept in an area of more than 24 hectares of land, 16 hectares for birds that cannot fly and six hectares for birds that can but need to be fenced.

By Andrew M. Seaman |  New York - Large cigarette companies can keep their products affordable for young people and the poor by shifting the burden of rising excise taxes from cheaper brands to more expensive cigarettes, according to a new study from the UK.

[Stop smoking! Ignore the cigarette business, because they will never care if you have cancer because of smoking. They only care about how to keep their business smoothly, your money will flow to their profits coffers and you will be buried due to a variety of diseases caused by cigarette smoke. After you die, they will calmly say, "It's your own fault."

What they say is true. It is your fault if you continue to smoke while they have said the message in its packaging, that smoking is harmful to health, etc., etc.. You are an educated and you are not illiterate. You have the eyes to read. So, why would you want to be besotted and blinded by your own self in a way you still buy the poison, using poison and damage your health and the health of the loved ones around you?

Remember one thing, the price of our health care is so expensive. Maybe I'm too optimistic to think that a healthy lifestyle can prolong the life of us, because I know the life of each of us is the measure of God's providence. But at least, if you continue to smoke, then your health is worse than if you are not a smoker. That's for sure!

And the stupidest thing is, let alone you avoid all the things that can damage your health, you are even consciously participate damaging your own health. Oh, what's going on?

Look at China. I shudder to imagine the survival of their generation. This is the time when the fresh air into a profitable commodity because of the oxygen scarcity. Fresh air is sold in cans. Oh God, is this us? Reliable as the keeper and maintainer of your Earth? Oh. I wondered to myself, what about the health of their generation in the next decade, for example. I was dreaming, I saw the body of an alien in our lives later.]

► Darfur tribal hostilities displace thousands. Fighting between rival tribes in Sudan's Darfur region has forced thousands of people to flee their homes. The refugees, who are mostly women and children, are now seeking safety in the neighbouring region of Kasla in eastern Chad There has been fighting in Darfur between rebels and government forces for more than 10 years, killing tens of thousands and displacing millions. ► Report documents 'Rohingya persecution'. The Myanmar government and Buddhists in Rakhine state are being accused of ethnic cleansing and crimes against humanity during attacks on Muslim Rohingya villages. Human Rights Watch says Rohingya have been driven from several towns and villages which were extensively damaged during the fighting last June. This is one of them. It's a satellite picture of Sittwe after attacks there. This clear area used to have over a thousand buildings in it.  Human Rights Watch says the destruction was repeated in other townships. It says it's discovered mass graves containing bodies with their hands bound. It's blaming security forces for doing nothing while people including children, were hacked to death in attacks allegedly encouraged by Buddhist monks. Al Jazeera's Veronica Pedrosa reports. ► New microchip to detect medical viruses. A team of researchers in Singapore have developed an electronic microchip that can identify 70,000 different viruses and bacteria at once. The simple and relatively cheap DNA test is expected to revolutionize the treatment of illnesses and save hospitals around the world millions of dollars.
