IN MEMORY Of MY LATE BELOVED FATHER
Lately I often get the eyes disorders. What and whom I see often seems blurred. Even my eyes sometimes get me wrong. As I am looking to the mirror, for example, I feel that the gentleman whom I admire is my old acquaintance. Apparently he forgets and asks me to re-acquaintance.
In addition to often make the mistake of seeing, my eyes are often considered to be wrong in reading. I read the books, the books say I am wrong. I read them again, wrong again. No exception with the books I have written.
Tonight, the pain in my eyes is more and more acute, pain, dizziness, throbbing. Then comes an eye doctor, greets me, "Good night, Plato". Without a word he starts to check my eyes.
"Doctor, do I have to wear the thicker glasses?", I ask the doctor. The doctor says, "No need to. Your eyes just need to be plucked out."
To be plucked out? Ah, I can not imagine my eyes will be replaced with an artificial eye or using someone else's eyes. But then the doctor asks me to pray and sleep in peace, while the doctor will work on my eyes.
I wake up at dawn today. My eye's doctor has gone. Strange, now I feel comfortable and normal. I immediately look into my mirror, and I am very surprised because I suddenly meet with the eye doctor.
"Doctor, have you been changing my eyes?"
The doctor answers, "No, I'm just cleaning and soaking them into my tears, then I restore them as before. Why? Are you blind or something?"
I do not know what to say other than thank you. "Thank you. Thank you very much, doctor."
The eye doctor seems like wants to cry, but the eye doctor does not want me to see the tears.

Pranay Suresh, Jan Pepijn Servaas and Lakshmi Lavanya like this.
Lakshmi Lavanya : Hello doctor, "Mrs. Plato", you're very charming with all sorts of styles, from philosophy till politics, from arts until science, from humor till melancholy. Perfect! By the way, have you tried my food recipes?
Jan Pepijn Servaas : Whoa! ... wait a moment! wait wait... who's the doctor here? You or the doctor? Are you starting to make me spin in a circle of your philosophical hat?
Pranay Suresh : It's amazing to see you standing between the charm of the eastern and western philosophy. In my view, you are a little shy, but you can make others feel ashamed because of something to you.
Jan Pepijn Servaas : Listening to Paul Kagame, as long as Western countries continue to keep an eye on them, they will never be equal. African people have to work hard to develop their economy and to reduce dependence on Western donors. Parent and child relationship should be terminated.
Are the allegations true, that the international community uses Rwanda as a scapegoat for the mess in eastern Congo?
Astrid Adrienne : Do not involve Rwanda in this matter. That's not their business.
