► First Soviet hydrogen bomb test (1953). Date: 12/08/1953 | Type: Tower 30m | Yield: 400kt. Joe-4 was the fifth Soviet nuclear test and demonstrated the use of fusion in a weaponizable design known as the Sloika or "Layer Cake" design. The device obtained nearly all of its yield from fission and was limited for practical purposes to yields of less than 1Mt. The RDS-6s warhead used a U-235 fissile core surrounded by alternating layers of lithium-6 deuteride spiked with tritium, and a uranium fusion tamper inside a high explosive implosion system. Though not a true thermonuclear weapon the USSR claimed it was, and in conjunction with the fact that it was air-deliverable caused considerable embarasment to the US. The US did not successfuly test a deliverable thermonuclear bomb untill 1954. Uploaded on Jun 25, 2011 by

Regime change in Egypt through a coup plus (mass mobilization and military) would be a very bad precedent in the middle of the process of democratization in a number of Arab countries. Egypt's position is unique and special in the Arab world. Geographically, the country is in the middle between the eastern Arab and western Arab. The most frightening of the impact of the political process in Egypt is, people no longer believe in the democracy. Their voices will easily be hijacked by a combination of mass power, mass media, and the military. Politicians and soldiers, too. They gave more space to the old thinking, that the election is not the only path that can lead them to power. There is another path that can be taken, which combines the physical forces, masses, and the media, and they can fail the voice of the people if they have the power pillars.
The Egyptian model will be a pattern that may have an attraction for the people in Libya, Tunisia, Yemen, and others. Three countries with Egypt referred to as the Arab Springs, countries that were born from the womb of people's revolution, which is one of its goals is to achieve a democratic government, not the military.
General condition in the four countries is almost the same. After the fall of dictator in power in a long time, Islamist groups then rise well into the new ruler or become very influential in the government life. Countries that are still lulled by the euphoria of freedom then mired in very complicated internal disputes. In the same context as the Egyptian, it is very possible the patterns such as the imposition of power in Egypt will be emulated by those countries.
If that is happening, then the democracy development means nothing anymore.
Benefits of minimally democratic process is the peaceful transfer of power through the process and make the people voice as the basis. It's not there anymore. People's revolution in Egypt (2011) do not produce a 'democracy' as the first goal, but it produces a new pattern in the struggle for power outside the democratic arena, that is the mass rallies. It is very dangerous if it's followed by other Arab countries, which begin to tread on the path of democracy.
Those who are benefited most from this event is the Arab dictators who still enjoy the power until now.
The fall of Ben Ali, Mubarak, Gaddafi, and Abdullah Saleh by people's movement has made a great shock to the power seat of the rulers. They are filled with anxiety at any time. They are willing to do anything in order that people's movement for democratization will not spread to their country.
They are ready to do anything as long as they do not lose power. Some authorities do buy a super advanced weaponry and tools of social control with a very high price, which has nothing to do with national defense. They also pour the social programs that does not make sense especially for the unemployed youth and the educated, hire the mercenaries, and other ways that they have never done before. All the action is simply to minimize the possibility of popular movements eruption against them.
Now the crisis in Egypt becomes the fresh air for them. During this time, they are trying to show to the people with massive media propaganda, that the movement of people dropping the ruler is a very bad impact on the lives of people widely. What happen in the four countries of Arab Spring do provide a lot of anxiety than hope. Now, they can easily appoint additional evidence: Egypt. Arab dictators will easily say such a radical shift in power in Egypt in 2011 definitely brings a very big sacrifice. It does not take them to a better life, even on the contrary, bring them to the endless infighting and mutual destruction.

(CZ-Summary of after midnight discussion with a beloved partner | lacalifusa070613)
(Eehehhee...No need to be too serious comment on the situation in Egypt if what you mean is, "Egypt, what exactly do you want?", Cisca!) ...Well, there you go. How many times have I typed in this blog that those who gain power by institutional means, will leave their power in similar ways. Unconstitutional. Fair enough, is not it?
But it seems like there is no other word than funny for the people of Egypt. They ousted Mubarak because they erre fed up with his dictatorship. Although at that time the military supported Mubarak, but the people power to take over the situation. Good-bye, Mubarak. Now, Military, guard us! Okay.
Well, now, what's going on?
Example case:
A is in conflict with B. C comes in between them, not to calm the situation but to place itself as a defender of B.
B is happy, but I feel sorry for B. Why does B not feel suspicious by asking what the purpose of C to B?
Based on the above, then what I want to ask is, "Who is the real mass of B? Are the people of B = the people of C? Why does B not feel scared with a probability that C comes to replace A and then they (B and C) will be involved in a similar conflict, like the previous conflict between A and B, hm?
Ehehhe .... I swear, I do not pretend to ask you, and I think you also do not have to pretend to look for the answer, because you can already guess the most logical answer to my question.
If B accept the presence of C with a vengeance, then B is C. So, this is a planned conflict to restore the Mubarak era. Well, the "film language" is, "Wow, he's back! He's back again! Welcome back, military era! Ouch, ouch, look! Look! The clothes you wear is very cool and it makes you a little harder to be recognized, but I know : it's you."
Ehehhehe.
Bye.
