"María Elena" is a 1932 popular song written by Lorenzo Barcelata (Spanish words and music). It was published by Peer International Corporation of Mexico. The English words by Bob Russell.
The song was dedicated to María Elena, the wife of Mexican President Emilio Portes Gil.
An instrumental version of the song was used for the background theme of the film Bordertown, starring Paul Muni and Bette Davis, in 1935. The next year the words and music were used in the Mexican film María Elena.
Lawrence Welk later introduced the tune in the United States on his radio program, then in 1941 on the Okeh Records label.
The song was a hit for the Jimmy Dorsey orchestra with Bob Eberly doing the vocals. The recording was made on March 19, 1941 by Decca Records as catalog number 3698. The flip side was "Green Eyes." The record first reached the Billboard magazine charts on May 16, 1941 and lasted 17 weeks on the chart, peaking at #1 on June 14, 1941. Since "Green Eyes" was also a #1 hit, this was a major double-sided hit recording. In the same year the Wayne King Orchestra also had a #2 hit with "Maria Elena".
An instrumental version was recorded in 1958 and released in the United States in 1962 by Natalico and Antenor Lima, better known as Los Indios Tabajaras. This popular revival hit #6 pop, #3 easy listening in 1963.

Cisca Zarmansyah : Sentiments of the Arab identity failed in uniting the voice and strength to face the Israelis.
CieL- FreYa Ceastle : You're right. If Palestine was firstly attacked by Israel and quickly Israel turned their aggression to Lebanon, then the world's attention drawn to the second attack.
CieL- FreYa Ceastle : In the definition of Israel, Palestine is not the country and is still part of Israel. Thus, any Israeli attacks on Palestinians, are not regarded as an aggression of a foreign country, and therefore until whenever the multinational force can not be placed on the Palestinians. This is different from the Lebanon which is a sovereign country, even now being violated by Israel.
CieL- FreYa Ceastle : Two planes flew over north and south Lebanon territories before returning to Israel. Although the Lebanese army reported that almost everyday Israeli do the violations of Lebanese airspace, the forces are never fired a shot, except when the aircraft was flying within range of the Lebanese army.

Hezbollah is the factor that determines the fight between Israel versus Syria and Iran. If success, it will be a change of political and military in the region.

Ik ging door een veel proberen om een punt te bewijzen, omdat de laatste tijd heb ik gemerkt dat je lijkt te draaien koud wanneer we chatten. Ik ben niet zeker, maar ik hoop dat mijn gevoel fout is. Ik had moeten geven een aantal redenen voor wat ik voel. Misschien heb je het druk gehad de afgelopen paar dagen of een grote druk op je werk? Ik ben gewoon niet echt gebruiken om het, ik bedoel je lijkt behoorlijk koud. Wanneer we praten, ik wil gewoon het beste van maken, het beste van u en de beste van ons hebben. Ik zou gezegd hebben dat het een "spel", maar is het niet. Ik ben echt het verlangen om je terug te hebben. Ik wil je zien en uit te hangen met je mee.
Ik weet dat ik je pijn te doen voor wat ik heb gedaan en ik vraag vergeving voor je en hopen dat we helemaal opnieuw beginnen. Ik koester die momenten waarop alles goed gaat, en je bent zo cool. Ik kon nauwelijks de realiteit te nemen van je verliezen. Ik wil je terug.

De tous les chaos qui a englouti mon train de pensée, vous avez été mon objectif, j'ai l'impression d'être calme. Parfois, vous pouvez lire dans mon esprit et tu me dis exactement ce que je veux entendre. Ensuite, il ya des moments où nous ne sommes pas au même niveau à tous. Peu importe combien cela me frustre, j'ai toujours hâte de votre voix.
