I stood under a cloudy sky, feeling small by the threat of rain. The rain promises two things only, disaster or pleasure. To the pleasure, I do not have an absolute standard. Cisca Zarmansyah : Dear Mr. Vampire, the desire to work and stay of immigrants is a common interest that should be appreciated. Generally we don't dream of grandiose but a simple desire, such as a home, a better environment, education quality, and improve the quality of life.

Valentino Vie : Since the rejection of national quota system in 1965, there's consensus that was made to honor the origin country. These include economic opportunity, equality among ethnic groups, and embrace a world filled with innovation, energy and spirit of employees. Now, America faces serious issues around human resource competition in the world, where countries compete to attract the best people from around the world to work in their countries. Therefore, it's important for America to immediately create an immigration system that accommodates all of it.

Valentino Vie : It was not so surprising, baby. That's almost the same as what we developed in Europe during the last 20 years, but might not be combined with American tradition. In America people have the habit: people didn't want to know whether the other person's illegal status or not, as long as they weren't committing a crime and participated in American society. The government so far didn't care.

Cisca Zarmansyah : Yes dahling, I guess you also already know that Germany and France are the examples of countries where a person can be deported for not having proper identity cards. A kind of the same law is also addressed in Dutch parliament, but until now it hasn't been validated.

Valentino Vie : Yeah,... sure. And I think one of the biggest problems faced by your Mr. President Barack Obama is to convince the Congress that federal government should play an important role to propose the tough new immigration law, to prevent something is called the "irresponsible initiatives at local level"!

Pranay Suresh : An uncovered problem is the issue of quality information, ethics, checking sources and investigation. Journalists need the money. Companies need money from advertising to fund their office operations. Companies can take all money forms that enables the sales but difficult, or sharing between sales and advertising. The problem is advertising companies are not so interested in quality. They just expect a story to support what will be bought by consumers. Well... from the consumer side, whether the readers are still interested in quality issues, whether they take time to read the quality?


Valentino Vie : Good question, dude. And more to the question,... do they want to test their curiosity rights? Remember, where the media are censored, the reader and community will fight for press freedom. In Europe, public was angry when information was connected to a level of very close importance. In Europe every person enjoys the press freedom. Everyone can debate the issues of ethics and so forth, but media has right to investigate anything needed.


Pranay Suresh : wiretapping? pff ...


Valentino Vie : It's also an important issue! In Philippines, the talks between President Arroyo and local electoral commision was bugged, whereas this country already has anti-wiretapping rules to protect personal conversation. In India there was a report about government tapped the cellular phone of four politicians. In Uganda, the journalists were often intercepted. shit!... I was thinking about rat voice in my cell phone, especially if they tapped my private conversations. I wish my cat would respond to the damn rat!
