Carter: Don't veto Palestine's UN bid
www.presstv.ir
Carter urges the US against vetoing the UN Security Council vote for Palestinian statehood.

After a stubborn, now the Palestine authorities signals a willingness to postpone the vote until a few months for the UN Security Council about Palestinian efforts to become a full member of the United Nations. This increases the chances that a major confrontation between Israel and the United States can still be prevented.

"The important thing for us is to put our application as planned, "said a senior Palestinian official as reported by the Daily Telegraph on Thursday (09/22/2011), "After that, we are ready to proportional. We understand that these things can take time. If the process will take several months, we are happy to let it flow," added the official.

Palestinian offices say, they are unlikely to reject a compromise offer is being presented by the Middle East Quartet (U.S., EU, Russia and UN), despite a compromise offer will be delayed the heated debate about the idea of Palestine to become a UN member. Based on the offer, Mahmoud Abbas will still be able to introduce a Palestinian official application to become a UN member countries so that disabilities can not be ignored. Instead, Abbas will not ask the UN Security Council debate in which the U.S. government has threatened to use the right of veto. That way, the mediators have the chance to try to resurrect the peace talks between Palestine and Israel. But that has not been clear whether Israel will accept this formula. A number of Israeli government offices have been calling for sanctions against the Palestinian authority as they apply for membership to the UN. Their reasoning is, if the application is submitted by the Palestinian permanent, so even though the UN Security Council vote results is delayed, but in future it should not be able to be avoided anymore.

Bizarre bodies: 9 new world record holders from Guinness

Human bodies come in all shapes and sizes, but some bodies stray a bit farther from the average than others. Just take a look at the some of the newest world record holders, in categories ranging from fattest female to longest tongue to hairiest family. "Guinness World Records 2012 celebrates a diverse range of extraordinary records, but certainly our human body records remain some of the most loved and talked about," Guinness editor-in-chief Craig Glenday said in a written statement. But before you talk about them, you'll want to take a look... Here's Californian Chanel Tapper with the longest tongue in the world - it measures 3.8 inches from tip to top lip. (Credit: Ryan Schude/Guinness World Records)

Who's the fattest female in the world? Pauline Potter from Sacramento, Calif. When she was weighed on May 13, 2010, she tipped the scales at a whopping 643 pounds. (Credit: Ryan Schude/Guinness World Records)

Werewolves may be fictional, but there's nothing fictional about one super hairy family. Jesus Manuel Fajardo Aceves and Luisa Lilia De Lira Aceves are two of a family of 19 that spans five generations all suffering from a rare condition called congenital generalized hypertrichosis - in other words, they all have excessive facial and torso hair. The women are covered with a light to medium coat of hair while the men of the family have thick hair just about everywhere, except on their hands and feet. (Credit: John Wright/Guinness World Records)

How short is the shortest man? A mere 24 and 1/4 inches tall. When Junrey Balawing, from the Philippines, turned 18 on June 11, 2011, he was officially deemed the shortest living adult man. (Credit: AP)

In a city known for attractions, Las Vegas resident Christine "The Dutchess" Walton does not disappoint. She is the proud owner of the world's longest fingernails - they measure 10 feet and two inches on her left hand, and nine feet and seven inches on her right hand. (Credit: Ryan Schude/Guinness World Records)

Talk about a piercing stare. Rolf Buchholz, from Dortmund, Germany, has a total of 453 rings and studs all over his body. These include 94 piercings in and around his lips, 25 in his eyebrows, eight in his nose and 278 in his genital area.(Credit: Ranald Mackechnie/Guinness World Records)

Is facial hair still called facial hair when it drapes down the body? When Ram Singh Chauhan's mustache was measured during a records show on March 4, 2010, it was an impressive 14 feet long. (Credit: John Wright/Guinness World Records)

There are countless volume-boosting hair products out there, but Aevin Dugas, from New Orleans, boasts the largest natural afro. It's four feet and four inches in circumference.(Credit: Chris Granger/Guinness World Records)

Troy Davis: guilty as charged

High Court of the United States finally executing Troy Davis, the alleged murder of a policeman in Georgia in 1989. Previously, the execution was delayed for four hours because a lawyer filed an appeal. The court ultimately rejected the appeal and imposed the execution at 11:08 am local time. Meanwhile, hundreds of supporters and Davis family gathered outside the courtroom. They said the death penalty for Davis was something wrong. They said that the court had taken a decision based on testimony that had been previously disallowed. In his case, it was also not found the physical evidence at the murder that allegedly did to a police officer, Mark MacPhail. On final appeal, Davis's lawyer, Brian Kammer, said that there was new evidence that suggested the perjury, misleading and inaccurate in court. Since the court held, seven of nine witnesses have changed their testimony or even annuled it. A total of about 100 policemen on guard at the front of the courthouse. At least, three supporters of Davis were detained for being provocateur. The supporters lit the candles, prayed and sang for his release.

Davis was accused of killing Mark MacPhail in 1989 by being shot outside a Burger King restaurant in Savannah, Georgia, when he was about to break up a fight between Davis with a homeless. MacPhail family said that Davis was guilty and should be executed. This full of conflict case invited the national and international attention. Millions of people signed a petition supporting the Davis and expressed their doubts over the court's decision. Amnesty International, National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, former President Jimmy Carter, Pope Benedict XVI, and Desmond Tutu rejected the execution and asked for a retrial.

Since 2007, it has four times the Georgia court to cancel the execution of Davis. At that time the court gave Davis's lawyers to present the new evidence. But in 2011, the court rejected all the appeals of the lawyers. Until the end of his life, Davis still claimed he was innocent.

No doubt that I could not turn a blind eye to the writings of Stephen King. Unfortunately, as soon as I opened my eyes, "What do I find from both of eyes?"...

Paul Edgecomb was a prison warden of The Penitentiery Cold Mountain. There was a cell block called The Green Mile, where the prisoners lived counting days to meet their death in the electric chair. It's known haunted.

One occupant was John Coffey, a black man over six feet tall who was accused of brutal murder of two little girls on a farm. Expecting to get a brutal fight, the guards were shocked when they found out that Coffey turned out to be a very gentle man. Not only that, he was even reluctant to hurt the animals and he feared the darkness. Slowly, Coffey's presence could change the lives of all, who were around it starting from the pet rat, the warden Percy, Paul who had experienced problems with his marriage, until the wife of a prison guard who was suddenly cured of deadly diseases.

Seeing the innocence Coffey, Paul and the other guards started to doubt that the charges had been dropped off the court, and tried with all their might to change it. However, they later realized, that wasn't easy to save someone who was indicted for passing the Green Mile, other wise called for Journey To The Electric Chair.

For those of you who love the drama and believe that there's love in this world, it's so unfortunately if you don't watch this film. Taken from the works of Stephen King, The Green Mile successful film series adds Tom Hanks and bolsters the name of Michael Clarke Duncan, a black giant who truly makes my heart feel smaller and blue. And I can never shake this blue! So, what are we waiting for? Let's watch it...
