If the patterns of action and violence continue much longer, there is great danger the Iraqi state will be destroyed, probably by a large-scale civil war. Hopefully the leaders of Iraq to overcome the sectarian and regional conflicts by creating a consensus on issues that can't be solved by the Iraqi constitution, for example the issue of federalism and revenue sharing.
Iraq now faces the challenges and obstacles in security issues. In the end, the union and the Iraqi civilians will become the victims. Iraq, you can't always prepare a plan for "worst case", because you probably will never do anything at all on that basis, but you have to do more than just a plan for the "best case". You need to form a kind of liaison unit in Baghdad, raising the intelligence cooperation, prevent the smuggling and providing training to Iraqi police.
