News Headlines (507) 30 May - 8 June 2014

ONLINE TODAY

30 May 2014 : You could coast through the day if you feel like it -- or you could take advantage of the frictionless surface you're gliding on to make amazing progress toward an important goal. Your call! It's tempting for you to answer email, talk on your cell and check your messages all at once today. You might actually be able get away with all of it, too! However, make an effort to check in with yourself even during the height of your multitasking, rather than trying to seek new heights. It's vital to see how you're doing, especially now that your energy is running high.

31 May 2014 : Your intuitive side is giving you all sorts of new insights. You may find that you need to ask yourself some big questions to get the pump primed, but then you should be good to go for some time. You've never had a problem with conversation. In fact, you can always find something to chat about, no matter who you're with. But for the moment, you're also going to be amazingly sensitive not only to the words someone is saying, but what they're not saying. Just don't become so wrapped up in someone else's feelings that you forget about your own.

1 June 2014 : You're not feeling quite up to snuff today -- but everybody needs some down time now and then! Take a sick day if you need one and just try to take care of the basics. Quiet can be fun! There's a wonderful astrological safety net in place -- the kind that just about guarantees you a happy landing. Now, this doesn't mean you should get it into your head that you're bulletproof. But if you never take a chance, you'll never know if it would have worked out. Oh, go ahead. Assess the risks, take precautions and give it a shot.

2 June 2014 : Your active energy is practically forcing you to get busy today. Things are looking up for sure, so keep on moving and you should be able to make amazing progress before much time passes. Your emotions today are like a piece of bacon dropped into a hot frying pan: They're twitching, popping and sizzling. You're stuck in this spot for now, but there's a lot you can do to distract yourself. Keep busy physically. Active hands and plenty of movement will counteract your emotional state and could even mute the effect enough to give you long stretches of peace. By the time you get a chance to share your feelings, you'll have a better handle on them.

3 June 2014 : Love is in the air -- it's irresistible! Your great energy makes you more attractive than ever, and you should find that you're getting attention from the right person. Enjoy and live it up! While your tendency is to be all things to all people, make it a point to please yourself at this moment. You are centered, balanced and a tangible force of love. Others are attracted to your inner harmony. Allow your grace to carry you through your day. Flirt, but only with the ones who really catch your eye. Visit friends, but only the ones that please you the most. You can make friends and influence people with a wave of your hand. All you need to do is make the gesture.

4 June 2014 : It's easy for you to dream up new ideas today -- creativity is your best asset! Follow up anything that sounds good and see where you end up. You may need to coax someone who's a bit timid. You've been pushing hard, but take care that in the quest for success you don't lose sight of what's most precious to you. Are you planning to work again during your free time? Instead of toiling in the trenches for an uncertain reward, why not pour equal time and energy into nurturing your family? An afternoon in the woods, at an amusement park or even just picnicking in the backyard can make an enormous difference in everyone's spirits.

5 June 2014 : Someone is stressing you out today -- possibly so much that you need to start a fight. Try to avoid any serious dust-ups, but it's okay if you bare your fangs a bit. Show them you mean business! It won't be a boring day. Startling, for sure -- shocking, maybe. But definitely not boring, humdrum or run-of-the-mill. Your first surprise will likely arrive via either a coworker or someone else you see on a daily basis. Either way, they won't be acting even remotely close to the way they usually do. Of course, you being you, you'll enjoy the change -- and encourage it. Hey, it's your job to be a sparkplug. Might as well have fun with it.

6 June 2014 : A new challenge comes your way -- but it's one you can handle. It may be that it's a test of some sort, so take it seriously and hope for the best. The harder you work, the better things should go for you. Your energy level will continue to lag today, and it might be high time for you to think about what else you can do to take better care of your physical self. You can do something healthy to get fit that is actually fun, you know! Think about the types of activities you like to do -- walking, hiking, biking or skating -- and just do them more often. The hardest part is just getting started, and the stars say that today is the perfect day to do just that.

7 June 2014 : Now is the perfect time to get started on something new. It could be a project or a business deal, but you need to make sure that you're focused on what's most important to you. Your wit is razor sharp today, so don't let it go to waste. When you enter a room full of people, strike up a conversation by just saying whatever is on your mind at the time; don't edit yourself or over think what you want to say. Free and easy communication is usually the most interesting and it will encourage people to talk back. This is a wonderful day for a job interview, a first date, or any other situation in which you need to make an outstanding first impression.

8 June 2014 :  A quick wave of selfishness passes over you today, forcing you to rethink something that had once seemed ironclad. It's easy to put this feeling off for some other time (or maybe get rid of it entirely). The stars are gently reminding you that there's more than one point of view, and you need to take a certain party's perspective into account before you move ahead. You're moving with brisk progress toward what you desire -- and you're about to get it, too -- but it's important that you don't trample or shove anyone out of the way, especially if you want them to stick around for the next phase of the journey. So stop and inquire about someone's feelings.

ALAIN SORAL

What happens if I fondle this sensual face -- right above this text -- in my mind when having sex with my partner? Nothing. They don't know it, but I know it. Now you know it, too. It's okay.
The important question now is, "When is the latest time I had sex with him?"

Ah, stupid question. Do you know that finally sex is unimportant activity to me? I've become an anti-sex nymph now.
