News Headlines (342) 22 August 2013

ONLINE TODAY

► A dream has a big message for you -- but you need to let it unwind over time before acting on it. The good news is that it's not urgent, so write it down or ponder it for a few days or weeks. Self-distraction is a technique that people often use to avoid dealing with real problems in their lives -- and that's not necessarily a bad thing. From time to time, it's perfectly fine to keep yourself busy shopping for the perfect pair of flip-flops so that you don't have to clean out the garage. But today, that one problem you've been avoiding so successfully for so long needs to be addressed. It's time to tackle this thing with all your might!

Syrian forces bombard Damascus suburbs after rebels say gas attack kills hundreds
BEIRUT/AMMAN - Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's forces bombarded rebel-held suburbs of Damascus on Thursday, activists said, keeping up pressure on the besieged region a day after the opposition accused the army of gassing hundreds in a chemical weapons attack. | Video
Now let's use a little logic. If the Assad government do this abomination, why they do not undergo it since 2011, hm? If the UN team has requested permission to Syrian government to probe the presence of this deadly substance, and the Assad government has allowed it, then is it a reasonable thing if they actually prove that they do use chemical weapons? Ehehhe, dahliiiing... I can smell the aggressiveness actors behind all this news. No matter how stupid Bashar al-Assad is, the most logical thing done by him if the UN team comes to investigating the use of chemical weapons is to hide the weapon, and not using it to tarnish his self-image in the eyes of the world. This is more a reflection of the impatience of certain parties on the peace progress in Syria, those who rashly hope the accusations will be directed to Syrian government but they are not sensitive to the psychological conditions, that it turns out, the action raises an awkwardness logic.

Mubarak expected to be released from jail on Thursday
Hayiaaa .... what the hell happens? If Mubarak is released because there is no reason for detaining him, so why did they demonstrate against him in 2011? And if I'm allowed to think naively, I am wondering myself. "Can you do the similar action, Libya?" Ehehhe. Ah, but actually I'm being a bit pessimistic. I know the U.S. loves the new Libya, (because Libya is highly dependent on foreign powers) but the U.S. and friends are not too happy with the new Egypt. (Because Egypt under Mursi is subtle signal to the Muslim revival). If they use the Weapons Language, I'm sure you will not be alone. Hamas will be with you, Muslim Brotherhood! I'm sure your friends in various countries will also help with the more gentle ways. But you should be thinking about the future of your group, because maybe all of it is a systematic scenario to rid you of the Egyptian political scene.

And you, America et al, do not blind your eyes! The Muslim Brotherhood is Egypt's first election winner which took place democratically. The victory was not only in parliamentary elections, but also the presidential election. I'm sure they will as much as possible in keeping their chances to keep fighting in the election. Therefore, so far, peaceful protest is a fixed price for them.

Revolution Reversed: Egypt winds back clock as Mubarak to be freed. The urge to topple Egypt's former dictator Hosni Mubarak was the key driving force of the 2011 revolution. But after being sentenced to life in prison for ordering the killing of hundreds of protesters in the uprising, and a successful retrial appeal that followed, Mubarak could be freed from jail later today. He will however be back in court within days for further proceedings. RT's Bel Trew explains how his release became possible.

Hello there, mmmm, may I continue my dream today? I promise, for this time this is very fictional. So, you see, after President Putin and I  have sex --- if the figure of Putin as you mean like in this photo -- so maybe I'm full of introspection must accept the fact if I give birth to a baby mammal above. From now onwards you may think that the fingers on the photo above are my loving fingers on a baby of the results of my relationship with president Vladimir Putin. A marsupial mammal. Wondehful, dahling! And I'm sure, with all my self confidence, wherever the president Putin is, he will burst out laughing at the photo above.
