Bolivia irked by search for Snowden on plane
By Michael Shields - VIENNA - Bolivia accused Austria of an act of aggression by searching President Evo Morales' plane and blamed Washington for its forced landing in Vienna over suspicions that former U.S. spy agency contractor Edward Snowden was on board.

It was carrying three satellites meant for Russia's Glonass global navigation system. RT's Madina Kochenova brings the details. || Russia Proton-M rocket erupts in fireball, rams into ground. A Russian Proton-M rocket carrying three GLONASS navigation satellites crashed soon after takeoff from Kazakhstan's Baikonur cosmodrome. Immediately after takeoff, the rocket swerved to one side, tried to correct itself, but instead veered in the opposite direction. It then flew horizontally and started to come apart with its engines in full thrust.

Egypt's president refuses to step down. Defiant President Mohamed Morsi addressed a divided nation on the late hours of Tuesday night.  In Morsi's first address since demonstrations began three days ago, he said  that he would defend his "legitimate" position as the president, saying that only the "ballot box" will remove him from office. Anti-Morsi protesters gathered at Tahrir Square did not receive the speech well, while pro-Morsi supporters in Nasr City cheered the president's steadfastness.  Al Jazeera's Jamal El-Shayyal reports from Cairo.
