Father's stress during pregnancy linked to risk for behavioral issues in kids
(Tentative conclusions of the researchers, this happens because the wife is also feeling pressure from her husband. My question is, what makes the husband (PS: you, dahling... my beloved fiance) to stress? Throughout my memory, when my pregnancy had entered the age of 16 weeks, you even gave more attention to me. You always wanted us to go home early just to have more time for our intimacy. Especially when I had to change my bra size, (productive period of my mammary glands) ... geez .... a woman (who at the time) pregnant was me. Why (a woman who was pregnant at the time), and  stress, was me, too? My fiance became very jealous man when I was pregnant. Oops I'm sorry dahling ... now I just realized that. Is that your stress?)

But I assure you, our baby will be fine. I've taught him to watch and listen to the news since he was still in my womb. When I was playing the piano, for example, I wished he could feel what I felt. Unbeknownst to my partner, I have made a Secret World  between me and my baby. I also made a poem for him. I kept the poem in a very secret place. Later, when my baby is able to read it thoroughly, I'll give the poem to him.

Gut Instinct - Tibet. Published on Jan 7, 2013 :: It's hard to achieve inner peace with crippling stomach pains. Luckily for one group of Tibetan monks fate has brought a solution to their endemic problem, which may finally cure an ancient affliction.

Helicobacter Pylori, the bacterium that causes stomach ulcers, is endemic in poor countries. If it's not treated it can eventually cause stomach cancer. Nearly 80% of Tibet's 100,000 monks are infected, some for 20 years. But during the course of this film, a chance encounter offers a lifeline. "It's amazing. For $200 we can test, we can treat and we can change lives." -  Mark Gould || in SCIENCEDAILY - H. Pylori Bacteria Linked to Blood Sugar Control in Adult Type II Diabetes. Mar. 14, 2012 — A new study by researchers at NYU Langone Medical Center reveals that the presence of Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) bacteria is associated with elevated levels of glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c), an important biomarker for blood glucose levels and diabetes. A Gift for the Hackers - Netherlands. Published on Jan 7, 2013 :: IT companies are failing to secure devices connected to the internet, leaving them open to hackers. This shocking report reveals how anything from your pins to your passport could now be accessed online.

"Is this your pin? Is this a letter you received from your bank? Do you have a HP e-Print scanner?" The young man answers yes to every question, stunned that all of his information was accessible on the internet for anyone who wanted to see it. And he's not alone: the wealth of information available is staggering. From shop owners whose security cameras can be watched and controlled remotely, to medical records and confidential documents for international companies like Unilever, Orange and KLM, it's a bonanza for any would-be hackers. While it would be simple for the IT firms who provide printers, scanners and software to make the system more secure, they don't see it as their problem and argue that attending to basic safety protocols is a bit of a marketing nightmare. "There are people who know all about how this works, security-wise, but it's too much trouble to explain all that." One company went so far as to call consumers who didn't know they had to change their passwords "idiots". As the rate of technological change continues at a frightening pace, do technology companies have a duty to prevent our privacy being eroded?

► Would more guns save more American lives? 9 January 2013 - The mass shooting at a US school which left 20 children and six teachers dead has provoked a national conversation about guns. But in Illinois that debate was already under way. On 10 December - just days before the tragedy in Connecticut - a US federal court struck down the country's last remaining law banning concealed weapons. Lawmakers in Illinois were given six months to come up with an alternative piece of legislation. Now gun control advocates and gun rights activists are trying to shape that new law. Journalism professor Charles Ledford had been speaking to people on both sides of the debate before events at Sandy Hook Elementary School. He visited a local group called Guns Save Life, whose members are arguing for more permissive gun laws, as well as the mother of a victim of a previous mass shooting. His video provides an insight into the strongly held beliefs that influence discussion on this topic, as Vice-President Joe Biden prepares to deliver recommendations on how to prevent future massacres. The scale of the tragedy in Newtown has reinforced views. The BBC spoke to several members of Guns Save Life after the shooting in Newtown - and gathered email responses from many more. All insisted that the tragedy had strengthened their belief that the creation of "gun-free zones" - banning weapons from public areas including schools - had made the US more dangerous. | Produced for the BBC by Charles Ledford (VIDEO)
