► Finals - 2012 Li-Ning China Open. Streamed live on Nov 17, 2012.  The 2012 Li-Ning China Open is the 11th leg of the OSIM BWF World Superseries and takes place in Shanghai from the 13th till the 18th of November 2012. Live streaming will begin from the Round 16 on 15th November through to the Finals on 18th November.

They have worked together to block UN security council resolutions against Syria, arguing against any type of foreign military intervention whose aim is ultimately regime change. At this Beijing summit, one of their top priorities will be finding a common approach to Afghanistan. And the Afghan leader, Hamid Karzai has been invited to attend the meeting.

But as Al Jazeera's Patty Culhane reports, it is the historic visit to Myanmar that has divided opinion.




Lebanon struggles with refugee spill.  Published on Nov 17, 2012 : The crisis in Syria continues to send people over the border seeking safety. According to the UN more than 115,000 refugees are now in Lebanon. Some are in the small border town of Irsal. Al Jazeera's Rula Amin reports on the efforts being made to accommodate them.

The Frost Interview - Desmond Tutu: Not going quietly.  Published on Nov 17, 2012 : Archbishop Desmond Tutu, the famous Nobel laureate, and one of the world's most respected church leaders, was a central figure in ensuring an end to white minority rule in South Africa. He was instrumental in the struggle against apartheid, also acting as chairman of South Africa's Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC). He has since gone on to play a role as one of Nelson Mandela's handpicked Elders along with others like former US President Jimmy Carter. The archbishop takes Sir David Frost on a tour of his beloved South Africa; he talks about his time in the anti-apartheid struggle movement, his work with the TRC, and his alarm over recent developments in the "rainbow nation".

► Inside Story - A sign of shifting Egypt-Israel relations? Published on Nov 17, 2012 :  On Friday, Hesham Qandil, Egypt's Prime Minister, visited the Gaza Strip. His mission was to show support for the Palestinians, and to try and broker a truce as the conflict with Israel threatens to escalate. But hopes for even a brief ceasefire while he was inside Gaza were immediately dashed. The violence on both sides just continued. (VIDEO)


Inside Story Americas - Gaza: How can the US manage the crisis?  Published on Nov 16, 2012 :: To Hamas and other Palestinian groups, the US president sent a strong condemnation, saying there is no justification for "the cowardly acts" of launching rockets into Israel. To the Israeli prime minister, Benyamin Netanyahu, he sent a message of support and simply urged him to "avoid" civilian casualties. So far around two dozen Palestinians have been killed including six children and a pregnant woman. Three Israeli civilians have been killed.
